Delivered to the US Navy in 1945 with the BuNo 663002,she was subsequent;y transferred to the US Coast Guard until disposed of in 1958.
She then saw service as a fire bomber at Greybull,Wyoming ending up with Hawkins and Powers until 2003 when all Privateers were removed from service. She was purchased by 4Y-2LLC in 2008.This air to air session took place in November 2017,courtesy of the Centre of Aviation Photography
