This airfield is a training centre for the THK,The Turkish Aeronautical Association,a non profit organisation to promote aviation in Turkey.In addition to private pilot and glider training they also particaipate in aerial crop spraying with PZL M-18 Dromaders and Fletcher FU-24 ,also used for Parachute training,and also Fire Fighting with the Canadair CL-215
