This station main function is that of basic training for Naval Aviators and Naval Flight Officers under the auspices of TAW-6.Aircraft used include the T-6 Texan II and T-39 Sabreliner.and still in service at the time of our visit in April 2006,the Rockwell T-2 Buckeye.Aslo present were some T-1 Jayhawks from 12 FTW,USAF.It is also home to the US Navy Aerobatic Team, the Blue Angels
