Beale is the home of the 9th Reconnaissance wing consisting of the 1st and 99th Reconnaissance Squadrons flying the Lockheed U-2 and TU-2S plus Northrop T-38A Talons.In addition the 12th RS is equpped with Northrop Grumman RQ-4A Global Hawks.
