Through the auspices of the Centre of Aviation Photography i was able to visit RAF Lakenheath, to record the day to day life of the 493rd Fighter Squadron operating the McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle.This unit forms part of the 48th Fighter Wing,of which ,the remaining squadrons ,the 492nd and 494th,fly the F-15E Strike Eagle
